I newyorkesi The Pains of Being Pure at Heart hanno finalmente annunciato l'avvento del loro terzo LP che avrà il compito di tenere testa all'ottimo Belong del 2011. L'opera del quartetto indie pop (che nel frattempo ha sostituito il chitarrista When Hochheim con il "The Drums" Connor Hanwick) denominata Days of Abandon verrà distribuita il 22 aprile attraverso l'etichetta Yebo e vanta in cabina di produzione Andy Savours, già al lavoro con My Bloody Valentine, Sigur Rós e the Kills. A rendere più palpabile l'opera ventura oltre a tracklist ed art-cover anche il primo estratto, Simple and Sure.
